If my Muk-EX is active and gets KO'd by an opponent's attack, and I have a Lanturn with the power "Energy Grounding" on the bench, can I then use Energy Grounding to take an energy card from Muk-EX and attach to Lanturn? A. At the point at which Muk-EX is recognized as being KO'd, it's Toxic Gas power is no longer in effect. Therefore, Lanturn's Energy Grounding would be able to be used at that point. (Jul 29, 2004 PUI Rules Team) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- POKEMON ATTACKS ---------------------------------------------------------------------- == SILVER WIND (Masquerain - EX:Hidden Legends) Q. Say that on one turn you use Masquerain's "Silver Wind" which does +30 on your next attack. However, you switch Masquerain for a Pokemon that attacks with "Swift"; after resolving Swift's effects, does the +30 from Silver Wind get tacked on to do the extra damage (providing the Defending Pokemon was not Benched during your opponent's turn of course)? A. Silver Wind is an effect that is attached to the Defending Pokemon. So unfortunately for you the Swift attack would ignore that and not get the +30 bonus. If a Pikachu is in play and evolved from a Pichu does ATM-Rock work the same way? A. Yes, in this case Pikachu is considered to be an evolved Pokemon, and is subject to removal by ATM-Rock.
