A 40HP Pokemon has a Gold berry attached and 30 damage; it is also poisoned. Since the potential KO takes place between turns, will Gold Berry activate and save the 40HP Pokemon before the knock out check at the end of the between-turn actions? A. With the recent new way to handle between-turn events (whereas the Pokemon is not removed from play until all between-turn actions are complete), yes the Gold Berry would save it. (Apr 28, 2005 PUI Rules Team) == SWOOP! TELEPORTER (EX:Team Rocket Returns) Q. Suppose I have the Beldum in play and use its "Magnetic Call. Then I play Swoop! Teleporter on my Beldum to replace Beldum with another of the same Beldum from the deck. Can I use the new Beldum's Magnetic Call? A. Yes, you can. It is technically not the same Pokemon, so you can be able to use the new Pokemon's power unless it says something like "you may only use one of this power per turn" (like the wording on "Quick Search"). (Apr 28, 2005 PUI Rules Team) Q. Say I have a Lunatone and Solrock in play. I use Lunatone's "Lunar Eclipse" Poké-Power to make it a Darkness Pokemon until the end of the turn. Then I play Swoop! Teleporter on Lunatone to replace it with a different Pokemon. Would that Pokemon be treated as a Darkness Pokemon until the end of the turn? If so, then if that Pokemon were to evolve would it still remain a Darkness Pokemon until the end of the turn? A. Well, the Lunar Eclipse would carry over to the new Basic Pokemon, because it's an effect on the original Pokemon and all effects carry over when you play Swoop Teleporter. However, once you evolve that Pokemon it would no longer be a Darkness type; just like when you evolve a Water-type Poliwhirl into a Fighting-type Poliwrath.
