Master_Trainer_Mike says, "One of the things we learned is that Ditto was the winningest card, meaning of the decks it was in, they won the most games."

        If Psyduck uses Headache ("opponent can't play any trainer cards next turn"), and then opponent uses Erika's Victreebell's "Fragrance Trap" power to put Psyduck onto the bench, does the status effect end and the opponent can then use trainer cards?
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "No, the status effect doesn't end.  It is on your opponent."

        If you draw your last card and have no cards left in your deck, can you play Mr. Fuji and put cards back in to keep yourself from decking out?

        Would Base Mewtwo's "Barrier" attack prevent the effect portion of attacks such as Ninetales' "Lure" (switch), Pidgeot's "Hurricane" (back into hand), or Dragonair's "Hyper Beam" (discard an energy card) from happening to Mewtwo?
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "Yes they would, it prevents ALL effects from an attack."

Master_Trainer_Mike says, "When you attach a rainbow energy from your hand to a Pokemon, that Pokemon takes 10 damage.  A Rainbow energy can count as any type of basic energy."

        when you have a dark charizard or a dark vileplume does it have 2 evolve fom a dark charmelion or a dark gloom or just any?

        Scenario: Ditto opposite MP Mewtwo. MP Mewtwo attacks w/ Psyburn. Ditto is Knocked Out because its weakness is to Psychic. This is correct?

        Do Dark Pokemon evolve from Dark Pokemon and Gym Heroe's Pokemon evolveinto or from Gym Heroe's Pokemon? Someone at my league says They can, and to quote "But Spearow is Spearow!"
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "As previously answered, Dark Stage 2 evolve from Dark Stage 1 which evolve from basic (no dark basic)."
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "Named Pokemon only evolve form other named Pokemon (as stated on the cards)."

        OK.  For spearow's mirror move, does this mean only what is done to spearow is done back or does this include percentage chances.  For instance, if there's a chance to paralyze Spearow but it doesn't happen, does Spearow have that chance to paralyze t[he other Pokemon?]

        If a player plays Sleep! And flips heads against a Rocket's Snorlax, then does damage, does it do the regular 20 or not?

        If a bench pokemon has some damage and a Defender on it, would Sabrina's Gengar's "Pain Amplifier" work on it or would Defender block it? The attack's text says to "put a damage counter on"; is that considered "doing damage"? LifeDown is coming soon!!
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "Defender does NOT block placing damage counters.  You will learn more from this type of attack in Challenge with Team Rocket's Mewtwo and Sabrina's Goldduck.  A tough combo."

        Also, if you have a Brock's Rhydon on the bench, can it use "Bench Guard" to absorb all of the damage done from Sabrina's Gengar's "Pain Amplifier" attack?
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "Once again, placing damage counters isn't the same astaking damage."

        Can "Bench Guard" move enough damage to Brock's Rhydon to knock itself out (doesn't say on the card that you cant)?  And say it already has 70 damage (out of 80 hp); can it absorb all 30 of the bench damage from a Gigashock attack before getting KO'd?

        Damage Swap states that you can't move a damage counter to a pokemon which would knock out that pokemn. That means that you couldn't damage swap to a Clefairy Doll or Mysterious fossil because it would Knock Out those cards, right?

        can you tell me how Brock's Rhydon's Bench Guard work in a more clear form?
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "If your benched Pokemon take damage you may choose to have Brock Rhydon take 10 of what is done to each Pokemon.  If B Rhydon is on your bench."

        About the Psyduck question.  Is Headache affecting the player playing Psyduck or the opponent? The attack does make reference to the opponent, but in addition Psyduck is the one with the headache, right?  Do does it affect both players?

        No matter what attack is done, you're always going to be placing damage counters on the Defending Pokemon.  Can you explain further please?
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "If an attack states it does damage, then that is damage.  If it states placing damage counters then it is counters for the purposes of Brock's Rhydon, Weakness, etc."
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "So attacks that place damage counters (Like Sabrina's Goldduck in Challenge) are NOT affected by Weakness, Defender, etc.).  Just like moving counters with Damage Swap or Curse isn't affected either."
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "For instance, Rocket's Mewtwo's Juxtapose attack states: Flip a coin, if heads switch the number of damage counters on R. Mewtwo with those of the defending Pokemon"
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "This is not damage."

        what would happen if you did seadra's agility but the opposition had a dark wortortle and did mirrorshell what would happen?
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "Nothing.  Agility might prevent damage form an attack on your opponent's turn.  The Mitrrorshell strikes back on your turn and so is not affected by the Agility."

        General gameplay question: If my opponent plays a Pokemon onto the bench, but before fully removing his hand from it, decides he wants to put it back into his hand, can he?  Sorta like Chess...
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "It depends on how serious you are playing.  NormallyI allow someone to take back the last move."
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "Most of us allow it because we're testing anyway.  We want to find out how good the deck is, we don't want to cloud things with formal tourny rules."

        How would Rocket Hitmonchan's cross counter work against Mr. Mime? or with Poison, Sleep or paraliysis.  Would it still work? or is there some kind of affect?
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "That would depend on the amount of damage being done back.  Crosscounter doesn't say anything about not working if R. Hitmochan is Asleep, Paralyzed or Confused."

Master_Trainer_Mike says, "If the attack is prevented, like with Tail Wag, thenSwift doesn't happen.  Swift, if it goes off, just prevents allattempts or effects that lower its amount of damage."

        Will there be anything done to restrict the Brock's Ninetails/Blastoise/Charizard combo?
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "Bubble Bursting coming up...stop reading if you like the may the Japanese version works.  The English Brock's Ninetales does _not_ allow the use of Pokemon Powers."

        Can you tell us if Brock's Ninetails can use Pokemon Powers from the pokemon it evolves to?
Master_Trainer_Mike says, "As Pat stated, it does NOT allow you to use Pokemon powers from the Pokemon you evolve the Ninetails into."

Master_Trainer_Pat says, "It's still cool, just not overpowered."

        Clarification please, If Brock's Rhydon only has 10HP left, and an attack does say 20 damage to each benched pokemon, can "Bench Guard" absorb all of the bench damage (say 3*20) before getting knocked out?
Master_Trainer_Pat says, "Correct, B. Rhydon would take 10 of what each benchedP-mon is assigned."
