And if mandatory, if they have no basic Energy cards in their hand do they have to show their hand to prove it to their opponent?
master_trainer_pat says, "The coin flip is optional. If you flip the coin then the rest must be done. If you don't have an Energy at that point, you should show your oppoenent your hand to prove you were fibbing (just a little, right?)"
